Cosmetic issues have a short window: 24 hours or 100 miles. File a service ticket as soon as you find one. This is handover guidance, not Tesla policy text.

The checklist is still useful after you have the keys. Revisit items you could not inspect at handover, such as charging or controls, when it is safe to do so. Review Tesla’s instructions for your region and contact Tesla promptly about any issues. This browser checklist keeps your checked items locally; it does not submit a service request or create an inspection report.
