# How to track your Tesla order.

Delivery Status for Tesla brings order progress, VIN assignment, and delivery windows into one clear view on iPhone and Android.

## When does a Tesla VIN appear?

A VIN appears when Tesla assigns one and makes it available to your order. It can appear here before it is visible in the Tesla app, but timing varies. No tracker can assign a VIN or guarantee an earlier update.

Sign in through Tesla in the app. We never see your password.

Free

## Visual order progress

Follow the steps Tesla makes available for your order, from the current stage to your delivery window. A completed step describes available order information, not a promise that the next step will happen on a particular day.

Pro

## Detailed order history

Estimated delivery date history stays in the free wait, with basic order progress, your VIN when available, and the free delivery checklist. With Pro, the change log lets you compare previous and current values instead of trying to remember what changed.

## What does the delivery window mean?

Your Tesla delivery window can move as plans change. Community predictions provide a separate estimate from shared orders. They are not a confirmed appointment or a promise from Tesla.

## Ship tracking

Ship tracking is Pro and BETA, and requires opt-in anonymized sharing. A vessel must be linked to your order before you can follow it. A ship’s position is context for the journey, not a confirmed date for collecting your Tesla.
